My name is Terry Snider and I am located outside of Batesville, Mississippi in the Heart Of Dixie. I have and always will be an avid hunter. Got my first squirrel dog at the age of 7 and have always loved the sport. I have always prided myself in whatever endeavor I have chosen to undertake, to do my very best. It is no different with my dogs or my passion for hunting. I believe that if I give my dogs my best they will do the same. I believe that the preservation of the Original Mountain Cur dog is the responsibility of all Involved. Breeding the "Best to the Best" may be a statement that is way over rated. My best and your best may be different, but that don't make either one of us wrong. I am primarily a pleasure hunter. Competetion hunting is great and fun but, I want a dog that can go and tree Squirrels and Coons consistantly, accurately, and do it everyday.  I may not have the best, but I will have some that can get the job done. Also, I am an avid Deer and Turkey hunter, but my passion is my Curs. I have raised and hunted many different type of dogs through the years, but have never saw any dogs more willing to please, more intelligent, Or just a more versatile and all around dog than the Original Mountain Curs. God, Family, and Hunting, this is my motto and the way I was raised, and the way I plan on continuing to live my life.
